Our experience caring for 1 million patients annually means we have more clinical experience than any other provider. Each patient has access to the collective expertise of nearly 1,300 clinicians and world renowned specialists and is provided with care and technology appropriate to his or her needs.
Hanger Clinic has nearly 800 locations nationwide, making it convenient for our patients to access care while traveling or re-locating.
We are in-network with 2,500 insurance payers and provide insurance and benefits counseling as well as pre-authorization assistance.
Education and peer support are critical to caring for the whole patient. Our AMPOWER® program for amputees has over 1,000 certified peer mentors and an even larger online community. We also partner with Trauma Survivors Network, Amputee Coalition, Sepsis Alliance, Setting Scoliosis Straight, Curvy Girls Scoliosis and CAPPS Kids.
In addition to providing timely and reliable follow-up care, we get direct feedback from patient satisfaction surveys.
Clinical Solutions along the Continuum of Care
Our patient care programs combine devices, clinical expertise, education and peer support at all stages of the patient journey from diagnosis to lifelong care.
Hanger Clinic offers proprietary devices such as AmpuShield® post-operative limb protectors, ComfortFlex® socket system and iO™ monitoring device to improve scoliosis brace wear compliance. We also have our own network of state-of-the-art fabrication facilities and the largest distribution network in the country.
We provide patients with printed and online educational materials, and our commitment to education extends to the allied healthcare team through an accredited continuing education (CE) program. These engaging, interactive courses on a range of orthotic and prosthetic topics are delivered by our clinical experts.
Outcomes are a core value of our company. Hanger Clinic has developed validated clinical practice guidelines for the perioperative management of transtibial amputation1 and the orthotic management of plagiocephaly2 to improve the efficiency and quality of care. Our outcomes studies are driving the orthotics & prosthetics profession toward evidence-based patient care.
